Duisburg, Germany emcee joins Automatic producer Adriatic for a 7-track collaboration and released a music video for the title track "Falkenfeder" via YouTube. A journey through nature, political unrest, and the supernatural, Tecah One remerges after self-releasing a string of singles over the course of 2020 and early 2021.
Listeners will find Adriatic's production to be as on-point as ever on this cross-Atlantic collaboration. Despite being from entirely different sides of the globe, Tomasz Kwapien, known musically as Tecah One, and Adriatic (Adrian Garrison Williams) share an affinity for 90s rap classics like Aceyalone, as well as UK-electronic music of a similar time. These influences sculpted a foundation for the album's sonics to reflect depth in the drums and vocals, while leaving the melodies to be very atmospheric and melancholy. "Tränen Lachen," literally translating to 'laughing tears,' is perhaps the duo's most robust product of the bunch, sporting raspy verses and a catchy, harmonized chorus.
You can stream the project on all major platforms and support via download from the automatic web store and band camp pages.
